The Damned Good Books series will return on March 16 after I return from a whirlwind trip to the Midwest. Be assured that you will get all 30-some books as promised, but just with a slight interruption.
See you in a week!

See you in a week!
Holly and I have begun to enter the refreshing stages of being settled into our new home. My first impression was one of excitement, an almost disbelief that I was going to be living in such a marvelous atmosphere. The intoxicating excitement of the heavenly vistas and ambience still continue to flow through me as each morning brings a new environment. It is difficult to suggest that one type of weather or view is my favorite, as there are many variables. This morning, fog and a rainy mist covered the landscape and tree top horizon. Dreamy. What a beautiful morning to awake upon. I drove to Mt. Horeb and joined some other running partners at the Energy Center Fitness Club, where I am providing personal training and performance coaching, logging in 90 minutes of rural, rolling hills. I must include that Reeve Road offers challenging courses of hills, which is very good for my training. I have already developed a personal war with one in particular on County F and I will soon become victorious in a near future battle. I love it! I am so blessed to be here.
Holly is also very happy. Our 2 dogs, Guinness and Masai, are in dog heaven! Masai runs in large perimeters, encircling the house. Guinness, as well, but will need some days off due to a front paw running injury. Holly has planted several rows of veggies in the garden and checks out the garden every day. We weeded it together, a memory I value of time we spent together, doing something sustainable and natural. During a run, I stopped by to meet several of our neighbors who were outside working. How great it is to return to rural Wisconsin where friendliness and hard work ethics seem to be genetically programmed into the DNA of almost everyone. I know that I am happy, because our lawm mower has broken down and needs a new solenoid. However, I am still at ease and patiently understand a new one is near in the future. Little things that use to tear my emotions apart just don’t seem to bother me. Possibly partially part of growing up, but I think Bullfinch Farm has a lot to do with it.
Our new tenants, Ben and Holly, have agreed to become contributors to this blog, chronicling their adventures at Bullfinch. (I hope they have many!)
Jesse and I will continue to post on this blog, too, even after we move. Our posts will be under the category of “Bullfinch east,” as we feel we’re carrying the spirit of the farm with us to our new home.
Welcome Ben and Holly!
